Avengers 2 : Capt.America Dances With Peggy Carter, First Love Returns

Last fans saw of Peggy Carter was in "Captain America : Winter Soldier" as an old woman being visited by a young Capt. Steve Rogers aka Capt. America. Now Hayley Atwell, who plays the character of Capt. America’s first love, has "confirmed" that she will reprice her role in "Avengers : Age of Ultron."

Movieweb reported that Agent Peggy Carter will have a specific scene in "Avengers 2" as what Joss Whedon wanted. According to Hayley Atwell, Whedon had talked to her about writing a scene for her character.

"We went out drinking one night and he was like, ’You know, it would be great to write something for you,’ And I was like, ’Yes, Joss, it would ! It would be amazing !’" she said.

Although it’s still uncertain whether Capt. America’ first love will return in flashbacks as the young Peggy Carter or again featured as the withered woman in a senior citizen’s home.

According to Movieweb, a source from the production of "Avengers : Age of Ultron" saw Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell shooting some scenes inside London’s Rivoli Ballroom. It was hinted to be some kind of dance scene as movie extras were seen dancing the "Lindy Hop." The site hinted that the scene could be a flashback since the modern Peggy Carter is already old and withered. So she couldn’t possibly be dancing.

Agent Peggy Carter was supposed to have a heartbreaking scene in the first "Avengers." Joss Whedon had revealed back in 2012 that he wrote a "beautiful and poignant" scene for Capt. America and Peggy that could have taken place in the modern times. Sadly, that scene never made it to the screenplay and also to the big screen.

Meanwhile, "Avengers : Age of Ultron" is fast on its production. Recently, Entertainment Weekly provided a first glimpse of Ultron on their Comic-con preview cover. Details of the Avengers’ nemesis were also revealed, such as his character and origin.

As previously reported by IBTimes, Ultron in "Avengers 2" won’t be created by Hank Pym aka Ant-Man as based on the comic. Instead, Tony Stark "fathers" the A.I. for the purpose of leading his other legion of robots in the fight against evil. Unfortunately, Stark made Ultron with elements of his personality, including his intelligence, which soon made the A.I. realize that the only evil in the world are the humans. For that, they have to be eradicated.
