Hayley Atwell dons Frozen-inspired look at British Independent Film Awards
Hayley Atwell looked pretty as a princess in a bejewelled, purple ballgown as she attended the British Independent Film Awards in London on Sunday night (10Dec17).
The Captain America : The First Avenger star highlighted her tiny waist in the attention-grabbing gown, which featured sheer material along the torso and arms, all covered in jewels. The embellishments continued onto the body of the dress, before tailing off onto a full skirt.
Appearing to channel Frozen’s Queen Elsa in the ensemble, Hayley teamed the outfit with a side plait – reminiscent of the hairstyle the animated character sports in the Disney film. She added to the fairy tale look by sporting metallic purple manicure and a swipe of red lipstick. Hoop earrings completed the ensemble.
Hayley had some competition in the fashion stakes at the event though, from stars including Olga Kurylenko, Kate Mara, and Natalie Dormer.
Quantum of Solace star Olga looked incredible in an eye-catching fringed Balmain gown as she posed for photographers ahead of the ceremony. The dress, fresh off the spring 2018 runway, featured black, white and grey pieces of fabric worked into a chain mail-style bodice, with Olga able to show off her incredible figure in the look thanks to several sheer sections.
It also featured black and white fringing, which added even more interest to the look, and the 38-year-old Ukranian beauty kept the rest of her look simple thanks to minimal make-up and her brunette hair tied up into a chic updo.
Former Game of Thrones actress Natalie showed off her long legs in a double-breasted white tuxedo style dress, while Ruth Wilson went for a similar shade in her bias-cut silk dress.
Kate opted for a sexy smouldering look as she attended the event alongside husband Jamie Bell, showcasing her slim frame in a black ruffled gown with a belt. Smoky eye make-up added a glamorous touch to the look, while former Billy Elliott star Jamie looked smart in a charcoal grey suit and tie.
